Michael Strauss (pianist) has appeared as a concerto soloist with the main orchestras of South Africa. While there he also appeared frequently as a soloist and accompanist for the South Africa Broadcasting Company.
For the past six years, Mr. Strauss has been active in and around Boston as a vocal coach, accompanist and performer and has recorded chamber music for WGBH. He is music director of The Boston Conservatory's Opera Department.
