Synopsis Most of Ahwesh's films are in Super-8 and she has recently used "Pixelvision" video - a grainy format which, along with her abrupt aditing techniques, makes for films textured by immedacy and spontaneity. Her verite' style, reminiscent in its casualness of both Andy Warhol and Jack Smith, is also harsh. Throughout her films, she brings role-playing to unsetting heights, be it through a child or an adult's playful regression.
