The Boston Symphony Orchestra performs ten months a year, in Symphony Hall and at Tanglewood. From October through April the Boston Symphony Orchestra performs in Symphony Hall. During the subscription season, concerts are given on Friday afternoons, Saturday evenings, most Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and six Friday evenings. In July and August the orchestra performs at Tanglewood, the BSO's summer home in the Berkshires.

HOW TO ORDER TICKETS
Individual tickets for BSO concerts may be purchased by calling SymphonyCharge, by mail, or in person.
By Phone: Call SymphonyCharge at (617) 266-1200 or, from outside the 617 area code, at 1-800-274-8499, Monday through Saturday from 10am - 6pm to charge your tickets on a major credit card (Amex, MC or Visa), or to make a reservation and send in your payment by check. Check orders must be received at least ten days prior to the concert. There is a $2.50 handling fee for each ticket ordered by phone.
By Mail: Send mail orders to the Symphony Hall Box Office, 301 Massachusetts Avenue, Boston, MA 02115. There is a $2.50 handling fee per mail order.
In Person: The Symphony Hall Box Office is open from 10am - 6pm, Monday through Saturday. On concert evenings, the Symphony Hall Box Office remains open through intermission. The Box Office operates during the months of September through July and moves to Tanlewood for July and August.

Rush Tickets
A limited number of rush tickets for Boston Symphony Orchestra subscription concerts on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Friday afternoons are set aside to be sold on the day of the performance. These tickets are sold at $7.50 each, one to a customer, outside the Massachusetts Avenue lobby on Fridays beginning at 9am and Tuesdays beginning at 5pm. Please note that there are no rush tickets avaialbe on Friday or Saturday evenings.

OPEN REHEARSALS
Open Rehearsals are working rehearsals conducted by Seiji Ozawa and featured guest conductors. The Open Rehearsal series include two Wednesday-evening series of three rehearsals at 7:30pm and two series of three rehearsals on Thursday mornings at 10:30am. A preconcert lecture, open to all ticket holders, is held in Symphony Hall and lasts approximately one-half hour. For Wednesday evening rehearsals, doors to Symphony Hall open at 6pm and the lecture begins at 6:30pm. For Thursday morning rehearsals, doors open at 9am and the lecture begins at 9:30am.
