Synopsis: This film opened on Valentines Day in N.Y., but we chose the weekend before Easter for this refreshing gay comedy about three friends and the emotional turmoil they go through with their repsective boyfriends one long Easter weekend (just to get you in the mood). Seven gay men head off into the rural countryside to explore love, sex, and relationships. Paul ane Ben have lived together for five years and the relationship is getting tired; Matt and Owen have been together for three months and are a complete mismatch; Will and Adam have been together one night and may be more intimate than they realize. Paul, who is an amateur filmmaker captures it all on videtape. A sort of queer cross between The Big Chill and sex, lies, and videotape, this endearing independant British film is bound to capture your heart.

"...a sweet, decent and well spoken film. It doesn't want to change the world; it would be happy to move you personally, whoever you are...no one, gay or straight, will make it through Boyfriends without at least one arrow sinking home." - Time Out New York
